St. Patrick's Day

Okay so i just realized I did not take any pictures of the mayhem the Leprechaun did to our house.

On St Patrick's day every year the night before I read my kids this book about a Leprechaun who comes once a year to visit the little boys and girls and if they are good he leaves them a treat but he could also be very mischievous and leave a mess. My kids set a trap every year to try and catch him this year they got really high tech and had alarms set and everything. That did not stop our little green friend he still left a trail every where he went. He must have gotten caught in the trap for a moment because there was a ripped piece of cloth caught in the trap. He left all our chairs turned upside down and a trail of paper cups all over the house, He turned our milk green and left a surprise for everyone.

My kids love this crazy holiday they love that we make all our food green.  Kendall really enjoyed the whole pinching thing if you did not wear green. Aunt Colle learned after a few minutes of being with Kendall to make sure she had green on by the time my other kids got home.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday we had our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Because of the cold weather we moved the hunt indoors to the basement. (I don't think the kids cared) We split the kids into two different groups so it was not so crowded.

The kids had a great time hanging out with all of their cousins and I always love having my family over.

Kendall loved looking for eggs and thought it was totally cool that all her eggs were her favorite color (orange if you can't tell)

Marshal helped hide eggs this year, which he was fine with until latter when the girls all pulled there candy out and he did not have any.  But we all know that Marshal enjoyed  the missing peanut butter eggs from everyones sacks. He he Marsh I know it was you!!!

I hope everyone had as much fun as we did. We missed all that could not come and hope to see everyone soon.

Love You all Have a Happy Easter!
Andrea

PS: If anyone has pictures with my older kids in them could you send me a copy because Chuck only took Kendalls picture

Grandparents & Goodies

Our Elementary has what is called Grandparents & Goodies, its when you have your grandparents come to school with you and have treats and read to you. Well Noelle was really bumed that she did not have a grandparent to come with her. She told her teacher and her teacher said well you can have an Aunt or Uncle come with you. So Noelle got on the phone and asked her Aunt Colle to come with them. She was so excited about it. And we are really happy that are Aunt Colle would be willing to be ready and up before 8.

Thanks Aunt Colle for always being there for my kids!!!

Big Helpers

Kendall has become my permanent shadow she wants to help me do everything. (except make her own bed or clean the play room.) she is always asking "What can I do now Mom?" She is even becoming a little OCD about certain tasks she can not stand if someone does not put something away just right or if they are doing a task different than I might of done it. I had a presidency meeting at my house and when the kids were helping her clean up before they all left someone had hung the play tools up wrong and she got right on the poor kid for not hanging them in the right order and color.

She loves to do the dishes she has even gotten Easton in on the action. He now likes to play the fast game when he comes over. (that is one of my many cleaning games.) They are both really good helpers most of the time. Last week we had a friend over and she told them "you can come play in the toy room because it is Noelle's turn to clean it so I don't care if you make a mess."
She has fallen asleep so many times why she sits and watches me cook. This time I woke her up and tried to get her to lay down on the sofa, she would come right back to the stool and tell me "I am not falling asleep I am just thinking about how your doing that." She is such a crack up and keeps me laughing.

Basketball

We are almost at the tale end of Basketball season for Jr jazz we have one all our games but one. Saturday his team won 61 - 14. Deacons ball they have also won all there games but one and are the number one team. We are just waiting for our play off schedule.

Marshal has done really well and has had a great coach who has taught him a lot. In years past we have always ended up on teams with kids who have never played before or kids who all think they are the all star player. I have really enjoyed watching how much fun he is having working on teams that really get the concept of team work.

Worldwide Broadcast

Saturday Evening Chuck and I attended the worldwide broadcast for all adults of the church. It was such a good meeting. Both Chuck and I Have not stopped talking about it. I came away feeling so enthused about so many things. Sometimes you leave these meetings a little down with the list of things you need to be doing better. I left knowing I need to do better and that I can do better.

It was also exciting to see and hear our new prophet speak to us for the first time. It is so amazing to me watching him from a few weeks ago he seems older and a little gentler, you knew when he was talking he is the prophet.

I would love to hear everyone else's views on the meeting.

I was hopping to do this earlier today but like normal the day got away from me.
Happy Birthday Nicolle !!!!
I hope you had a great day. I love you so much. I find myself very blessed to have you as my sister and one of my best friends. I am so grateful for all the support you are for me I know that no matter what you will be there. I don't think I will ever be able to repay you for all the help and support you give me. It does not matter if it is helping me with car pool or just lisitening to me, you are always there. Thanks for being such a kind and loving person. You make life just a little bit brighter for all those who know you.  I love how you are always trying to improve yourself. You are always willing to learn new things even if it scares you to death. Keep on being you. YOU ROCK!
Love Ya,
Andrea

I'm Back!

I know it has been several months since I posted. Life sometimes gets a little crazy for me. I thought I better take the time to post something so my siblings will stop bugging me about my blog.(I do appreciate the concern everyone)

Yesterday was Marshal's birthday I can't believe he is 13. He got a new snowboard and all the gear for his birthday. (actually he got it a week and a half ago) so not having anything to open made for an odd birthday. We went to dinner and Kendall made him a cake. I think he had a good day. He is a really good kid and a great example to his sisters I can't believe that he is 13 It seems like yesterday when he was Kendalls age.

I hope to post pictures of some of our recent adventures. For Christmas I got a i mac computer and I finally got high speed internet this week so i am still trying to figure this thing out so be patient. Lara I might need your help he he!

Chat with you all soon
