NOELLE

I am so many events behind that I am just going to combine several to catch up on each child.
I find photos like this top one on my camera often. She thinks it is so funny to take pictures of herself and things in the house to see if I notice.

Noelle has been taking tennis lessons this summer. She loves it, I am amazed at how fast she has picked this up. Who knows maybe we have found a sport that her height does not hinder her.
This is how I found Noelle one morning when I went in to wake her up for school. I can't believe they stayed on her face the whole night. The funniest part though is why she had them on. She has a big half round window in her room that is not covered and near the end of the school year when it was time to go to bed the sun was still out so she was having a hard time falling asleep. In fact before I knew about this problem (her not sleeping that is) I received a call from her teacher telling me she had fallen asleep at school for two hours at her desk. Yes you read that right two hours. She sleep during a game where the kids were running around, teacher ringing a bell the whole works. Needless to say she was not falling asleep every night till around eleven she was exhausted and although the sun glasses stayed on they obviously did not help.
Noelle won the award for the most advanced reader this year at school she got to go to a special event where she received $20 in books she had a blast picking out new books. We are so proud of the progress she made this year. Way to go Welly!!!

Race for the cure

I am finally ready to get back to blogging on May 9th my kids ran in the race for a cure with Aunt Colle. This is just before the race started.

This is Marshal and Charly at the finish line they did really pretty good considering how many people were in the race, it took them several minutes after the race started to even cross the start line.
This is Aunt Colle with her friend they were just a little bit behind Marsh and Charly.
A view of the thousands of people who ran in the race.
I love this picture of Kendall watching for Marshal and Charly.

I am BACK!

Yeah after four long weeks of torture of not having a computer I am back.  I need to thank all my awesome friends for letting me use there computers and for helping me with projects at the last minute. I have so much to share, the past four weeks have been loaded with all kinds of events and stepping stones in my kids lives. I hope to post about them soon. I have 726 e-mails to go through and a few more things to set up. Hopefully by morning we will officially be back.

Noelle's second grade program but wait was she there?

Friday was Noelle's second grade program. Chuck could not make it so I decided to video it for him. When the program started I handed Kendall the digital camera to hold while I videoed half way through the program my friend and i noticed that Kendall was making great use of the camera. She took a total of 38 photos. And over half of them were of herself.
This is a close up of her tongue.
This is her pulling a face.
I was a little impressed that she was able to turn the camera around and get a few shots of herself.

her shoes.
She also took several of the back of Easton's head her friend's Davis and Cooper's Ear's, close up shots of noses and a few good head shots. She also got several shots of Alison and I videoing.

Oh and before she even noticed the program was over she got one of Noelle walking off the stage.

Mother Daughter Date

Friday night we had our mother daughter date. We had a lot of fun the girls pampered their moms by painting their toe nails and rubbing their feet. Then we made these cute flip flops and then finished the night with banana splits. I wish I would of gotten a picture of me and both girls but in the commotion of setting up and getting ready I totally forgot. (I am one of the activity day leaders)  I think all the girls had a great time its a fun age, I hope it is something they will always remember. I remember very well my Mother Daughter dates with my Mom.
Charly did take this photo of Noelle with some of her friends.
Olivia, Madie, Noelle and Madison.
They were having a good time while the Mom's chatted.

Another random convo with Kendall

Sunday while I was in the kitchen cooking, Kendall was on her stool watching when out of no where we have this conversation.

Kendall - Mom I love you.
Me - Thanks Kendall I love you too.
Kendall - No I love you so much you could never break my heart.
Me - Kendall I would never want to break your heart.
Kendall - No Mom, (picture hands on hips now) I mean I love you so much you could never break my heart. Not even when you put me in time out.
Me - (trying not to laugh) I am glad because I don't put you in time out to break your heart.
Kendall - (eyebrows up and hands still on hips) oh well thats good cause I love you so deep it is not going to break.

And with that she hops of her stool and heads to the sofa singing We thank thee oh God for a prophet.

This girl truly brightens my day.

TRACK

Charly has always wanted to run track and this year we were able to make it happen. She is having so much fun.

This last week at practice they had time trials to get ready for an upcoming meet. Charly did really well I think she even shocked her self.  She took first in both by several seconds. She has always been a good runner but its amazing to me how a little training can help.

Kendall made a great cheerleader for Charly, I got a kick out of listening to her yell "faster Charly they are going to catch you." Kendall also keep herself busy in-between watching Charly run she picked quite the bouquet of dandelions to give to Charly for doing so well.
